Press
Press with gentle, constant pressure until you hear the hiss, then stop.
Notes
Alan Adler's own recipe, the one printed on the box. Everything the AeroPress became known for later, the inversions and the bypass water and the championship theatre, is a departure from this. It is worth brewing once to see how much of the rest you actually needed. The low temperature is deliberate and was unusual in 2005.
